UNEDITED TRANSCRIPT: In the hymns that we were singing from our Spiritual Songs book. There was a word repeated in all of them and that you might be here this evening. Nobody knows what's going on in your life. Nobody knows the things that you are personally dealing with. Nobody knows the struggles that are happening inside. Well, let me tell you, my friend, the Lord Jesus. He knows. The Lord Jesus knows and he is concerned about every single aspect of your life. God is so concerned that he sent the Lord Jesus Christ to take care of a problem, a problem that we have no solution for. God would provide for us. That word that we have sung this evening is all in three hundred and sixty nine. The first hymn that we sang. Says in verse two. All the price is paid. All the price is paid. And if we stop to ask ourselves. Price for what? What's been paid. What was the cost? How much was it? Let's turn together. We're going to look at just a few scriptures. We'll begin. Romans chapter three verse twenty three says, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. For all have sinned. There is no exclusion from that word. Turn to Isaiah fifty three. Isaiah fifty three. We'll read the end of verse six. It says, and the Lord has laid on him. On him. That's the Lord Jesus, the iniquity of us all. All have sinned. All have sinned. There is no way For you to determine even what that means for yourself. You. That is, you cannot count or measure the extent of your own sin. Not even the sins of all the people who are in this room. Scripture tells us that all have sinned. Every single one. And the Lord has laid on him. The iniquity of not just a few of us, of not just the ones who did. Just a little bit of us. All of us all. There is one who knows. Who knows sin's full weight. There is one who is able to bear the cost. There was one who was sent to be that sacrifice for our sin and sins. It's the man, Christ Jesus. And you might be sitting here this evening and you have no relationship with him. Maybe you sat here. You enjoyed some of the things that you heard today during the conference. Maybe you could say amen to some things, but there is something that is missing in your life, and that is a relationship with the one who loved you and gave himself for you. Our sins bear a penalty. We deserve death. We deserve judgment. We deserve to be cast away. But, my friend, we also sang about the love of God and just how we cannot measure the amount of sin that the Lord Jesus would bear. We cannot measure his love. And we probably can't even comprehend what that means. That a man would love everyone. We were saying it today. It's probably easier to get along with some of us than it is others. You know, there might be some even believers in here who would say, yes, I love my brethren. But, you know, that's the thing about what God has done. God did not just tell us that he loved us. God did not just tell us that he loved us. He showed us. He gave. He was willing to give. The Lord Jesus went into death for us. He took your place and mine. Is when we sing that song sometimes guilty of death. Oh God, we were. Thy judgment was our due. So all have sinned. He has borne the iniquity of us all. And you might be here this evening. Again, nobody knows. Nobody knows what's going on in here except for God above. And you might have done a really great job of fooling everybody else. But you cannot fool God. You cannot. And why is it that this evening God has ordained that you would be here today? Because, my friend, he has a message for you. God has something that he desires to say to your heart. And he wants you to dispense with the pretense, dispense with the, the the wall that you've put up. Because you can. You might fool mom and dad. You might fool brother and sister. I'll tell you recently. A young man who has been with us at Camp Pine Valley. Who was just a joy as a camper. Enjoyed what seemingly was every single aspect of camp. I had a conversation with him a couple of months ago. He said all that Jesus stuff I don't believe. And it literally broke my heart. Because it seemed like he was just putting on a show. My friend. Everyone in here has a birthday. You have no idea what that other date is. Should the Lord Jesus tear? You have no idea how much time you have left. But sometimes we live like we have all the time in the world to do whatever we want to. Leave God out. To say, I don't need Jesus Christ. I don't need everything that people at church are talking about. I don't need a relationship with him. You know. There is coming a day when every knee will bow. Every single person that has mocked. Every single person that has said I don't need will bow. And they will confess and they will see him. The Lord Jesus Christ. There is another verse that was repeated quite often today. Let's turn to it in the book of Matthew. Chapter eleven. Matthew chapter eleven verse twenty eight says, come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden. You know, when I come to Southern California, I have a certain piece about me. Because I know that if I get sick, there is a doctor at every turn. Can you imagine for a moment if. You're in the emergency room, you have a problem, and then all of a sudden, every single person who has a problem comes in. Think about that. Every single person who has a problem walks into the door. That would be a nightmare scenario in any hospital, right? He says, come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden. He is the one person who is able to make that invitation. He's the one person who is able to say, everyone, come. Whatever your burden may be, whatever your problem is. Come. Because he is able. We. We spoke about it earlier today. He is the one who is able to deliver. Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ. Come unto me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. The only one who can promise that everyone will be taken care of. I had to go to the emergency room in San Diego, and I hope I never have to go again. You know, I haven't seen it so much over here. But out east, you drive on the highway and sometimes you'll see a billboard. Emergency room. Fifteen minute wait. Think about that. Fifteen minutes. That sounds great. When you are dealing with the Lord Jesus, he says, don't wait. There is no waiting. You don't need to wait one minute. You can come just as you are. God desires that you get right with Jesus Christ. God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. God says, repent of your sins. Make a decision to go a different direction, a different way than you have gone before. You have gone the other way already. That end is the way of death. You need to go the Jesus way. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He says, come unto me. You will find the rest. You know those of you in here who love the Lord Jesus, who know the Lord Jesus as your Savior. I've said this often recently. It's not promised to us that life will be easy in this world. But in this verse we have what is promised to us, what will be easy. It says, my yoke is easy, my burden is light. That's the easy thing for the believer to be with one who is going to be able to take you through any storm, to be with one who's going to be able to guide and direct you each step of the way. To be with one who is concerned about, as we said earlier today, the way you walk. Some of us are in a stage of life where we are pouring time and energy, tremendous amount of studying into what may come for me later on in my career. And we thank the Lord for so many young people who are really driven as students. But let me ask you, my friend, are you putting the same time and energy into this? You believe that the there's going to be fruit from all your studying through college, University, med school. ET cetera, et cetera. Eternal blessing. An eternal investment. Something that will carry you through. Through eternity. Let's look at another verse in the book of Isaiah. Isaiah forty five verse twenty two says. Look to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other. Look to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth. There is one who can make that invitation. There is one who can save. Save you from a wrath to come. Save you from the lake of fire. To save you from being eternally lost should you die in your sins. My friend, God sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary, went to the cross of Calvary, shed his precious blood, went into death, rose again the third day. And he's saying now to you, come. He's saying now to you, look to me, all you ends of the earth, every single person in every single place, all whose sins I have borne you will be saved. Hey, we're living in a day and age. And I. I sometimes struggle with just how Difficult. The word difficult will be. Because there is coming in this AI age a lot of falsehood, fake things. So much so an ad pops up on your phone and there's a disclaimer these people aren't real AI generated. Brother was telling me a story about one of his family members in Lebanon. How she had a cell phone in her home and that cell phone got a message. The village is going to be bombed. So everybody got up in the middle of the night and left. And it was a prank by a high schooler. Can you imagine that? There are going to be more and more things, young people. That the enemy is going to put before you and try to tell you that these things are real. There is going to be more and more that is said. Scripture tells us Paul writes to Timothy and says that in the last days that people are going to be ever learning, right? Smartest we've ever been and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Cannot come to the truth. And what is that truth, my friend. We have read it in this verse. He says at the end. For I am God, and there is no other. There is no other. So you might be here wanting to try to deal with your problems in some other way besides what God says to do. And there are many people all over the world who have found that that can never work. When God tells me that I have a problem, you know what? I have a problem. When God tells me that he's provided a solution, you know what? God has provided a solution. When God tells me that I can be saved. You know what? Praise God, I can be saved. But if I don't believe God. Then I am lost. And somebody asked the question recently at a Bible camp. How can I know that God is real? Someone said recently in a message on a Sunday morning that I think it was Billy Graham. Somebody asked him that question once and he said, because I spoke to him this morning. Is the person of the Christ real in your life? Is he real in your heart? Because if God is real to you, then that means what God says, What God says. I not only must listen to, but obey, but obey. And so if you're here this evening. First to the believer. If you're here this evening. And harbouring a heart that cannot forgive. If you have some problem with another person. And you are holding on to that problem. My friend, that is not the will of God. If you're here as an unbeliever, someone who has never received Jesus Christ as your Lord. We read earlier, that person is dead in trespasses and sins. For you to have life. For you to be a new creation, you must come to Jesus Christ. As I was packing my things. I pull this out of a bag. This is Kimberly Nicholson. Thirty nine years old. Passed away. My first cousin. When she was about ten or so, she got so sick in Jamaica that she had to be flown on a medical plane from the island to Miami. When she got to the hospital, we were finally able to see her. She had every single kind of tube and connected to her. She could not speak. I asked her to write me a note and it just came out as scribble. She was in the hospital for weeks. Turned out that she had lupus. She recovered from that. She became a doctor. Years later, she passed. A couple of years ago she got sick again. By this time. Her life would end. Thank God she was a believer. So we know where she is. She is married. Two children. She passed March twenty ninth, twenty twenty four. I think today is the twenty eighth. I have another cousin. September of twenty twenty during the pandemic. Some of my friends in Orange County heard this not too long after it happened. He was driving home from his mother's. And something happened there in the road. His car flipped off the road and into a lake. Car upside down, sinking. It just so happened that there was a man who saw it happen. And this man got out of his car. And jumped into the water. Now it's muddy. Murky. I can't see anything. He went down. Couldn't find Troy. He came up. He tried again. Went down a second time. Still couldn't find him. He came up again for air. This time he prayed. He went down a third time and he caught part of Troy. And he pulled him out of the car. Under there, under the water. Troy had a scar all the way up the front of him. He pulled him to shore and started CPR. Now again, it's Covid. This person wasn't worried about what might happen. Administering CPR, but come to find out that this man was a trained diver. Troy was saved miraculously. So, speaking to my aunt, his mother, he said. She said he should not be here. But this is really just a picture of what God has done for us. We were lost. No possible way to be saved. Except for somebody would go down. Someone who could go down and lift him up. The Lord Jesus went, came down for us. He went down to where we were. Shed his precious blood. Died on the cross. Rose again so that we might be lifted up. So that we might be lifted up. I probably should have tried to see if I could get a picture and show you the car. But the car in and of itself. It's completely wasted, right? Troy has to have a new car. And so as for us in Christ, we are a new creation. What's there is gone. There's nothing good to come from it anymore. A new life in Christ is what we have in him. We're going to close. Want to? Read the end of this verse again. Or read the verse. Look to me and be saved. All you ends of the earth. For I am God and there is no other. I think Moses also said that, and maybe David said something similar to that as well. There is no other rock I know not one. There is no other name. There is no other name. Under heaven given among men. Whereby we can be saved. There is no other God. Will you surrender your life to Jesus Christ this evening? Will you repent of your sins and confess him as your Lord and Savior? Recognize that he's the one who can save you from certain death. And there isn't a believer in this room, I believe, who would not say that every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Will you yield your heart, yield your will, and say, Lord Jesus, I believe if you want to talk about that, after we're done, I will stay behind. I can Uber home if I need to. I'll stay behind if anybody wants to talk. But my friend, do not let this moment pass. Troy was just driving home and ended up in certain doom until a man was willing to go down. You can be saved tonight. Will you give your heart to the Lord Jesus? Let's pray. Our blessed God and our father, we thank you for Jesus Christ. We thank you for the one who gives life. The one who makes all things new. Thank you for what he did for us there on the cross of Calvary. Shedding his blood, laying down his life. Thank you that he was raised by the glory of the father and that he lives for us now and even this evening. Anyone in here who is burdened, who has no rest, can experience the love of God. By receiving him as their Lord and Savior. Father, we ask that if there is any here, that they would be willing to open their hearts door to let the Lord Jesus in. We thank you for the day that we've had the wonderful blessing that we've received, and we continue to look to you each step of the way for what you will provide. Knowing that it is life, we give you thanks, our God and Father, for all that you've done. As we thank you for our time together. In Jesus name, Amen. Amen. We thank the Lord for that day. We have been tremendously blessed today in his presence. We have learned so much from his precious word. And finally, we received a personal message to everyone from him directly. And it's our duty now to decide what response should we have towards all what we have heard this morning? There were instructions. There were directions. There were Scripture that were supposed to bring us close to the one who loved us and gave himself for us, and to mold our lives and our actions and our reactions in a way to be honoring and pleasing to Him and Him alone. And we shall give an answer to this. And the Lord might move things in our hearts and our lives and our homes, and our marriages and our work and our testimonies and our ministries tremendously, and make that change that we all would like to see happening in our own lives, in our assemblies, in our testimonies, so that we might be indeed living a life that's honoring to him. And for those who are here who have not tasted the preciousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. The door had not been shut in your faces, but the door still open, and the one who had saved many here in this room, as we have heard this evening from our dear brother Paul, he is willing to do anything it takes to save you, and to assure you of life. Not long life here on earth, but eternal life. And may we believe him. And as Paul mentioned, he is willing to continue answering any questions. So may we take an opportunity and search our own hearts and just walk in the way that the Lord had drawn before us all this day. He will continue if he turns in his coming tomorrow also. And we would love to see him coming to take us home at this moment. But it looks like there are some whom he wants still wants to bring home. And let's pray for, uh, in our time, for the messages that the Lord had sent for us today, that each one had heard what the Lord had said today. Take it to heart and respond in a way that will be honoring to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Study 4 - Walking As He Walked, By Faith Not By Sight
